2 cups all purpose flour
¾ cups melted butter or marg.
1 cup chopped pecans
3 cup conf. Sugar
1        8 0z package of cream cheese softened
1        12oz container of whip topping
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup water
1        3oz package strawberry gelatin
4        frozen strawberries

In medium bowl combine flour and butter,  stir in chopped pecans,
press in
9 x 13 baking dish, Bake in 350 degree oven about 10 minutes or
until lightly brown.  Cool completely, set aside

Mix conf. sugar with cream cheese until smooth, fold in whip topping,
spoon on top of crust pushing sides up to make a slight well for the
strawberries.  Set aside

In medium pan mix sugar and cornstarch over medium heat slowly stir
in water, bring to boiling stirring constantly and cook 1 minute until
mixture is bubbly, clear and slightly thickened, remove from heat and
stir in strawberry gelatin, cook another 2 minutes.

Reserving 1/3 cup spoon glaze over cream mixture leaving a 1 inch
border of cream visible, stir reserve glaze into strawberries and
spoon strawberries over glaze.  Refrigerator several hours or
